Meredith Bixler, one of the new owners of the Harrison House Hotel has had an interest in owning and preserving the history of the establishment for a long time. Meredith's great great grandparents Daniel and Sarah Davis owned the hotel from 1889-92 before it was purchased by William B and Mary Wright in 1900. This wonderful building holds so many memories and wonderful stories. that she can share along with others in this small town due to the wonderful history this building holds. Meredith and her husband Ray, have added two new bathrooms to the hotel giving it a total of four and a half shared bathrooms.

They have a total of 8 rooms that can sleep up to 16 people. The hotel is open year round and offers a continental breakfast. The entire hotel is decorated with artwork done by local artists. They have also kept the furniture in the main lobby as it was in the early 1900's. Both Meredith and Ray feel that this is a wonderful building that is a piece of history. They have worked very hard to restore this hotel to its former glory without skimping on today's comforts.
